Overview: Training Management System (TMS)

Training Management System (TMS) is an interactive automated application that is used by the training managers at various levels to manage the online training program nationally or internationally. KNI-TMS is a comprehensive Training Management System, which would provide information pertaining to Application, Registration, Training, Exam and Licensing (ARTEL) details of the candidate at convenience. KNI-TMS is a very sophisticated database management system that operates in a PC Windows environment, making maximum use of relational databases, to manage all aspects of online training programs.

Description:

Before TMS was developed, the online training program was managed by using separate listings of e-mails daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. The management of KNI had taken a decision to standardize the services and provide the entire training data on one sheet to the training managers, so that they could download the integrated sheet of data anytime and from anywhere. The basic functionality of KNI-TMS is as follows:

Fulfilling training requests: KNI-TMS provides access to all training managers to send requests for the IDs and Passwords for their candidates. TMS will generate an actual request for training that has been identified as a valid training requirement, and that request can then be forwarded to the Registration Department for inclusion in the online training program.

Student administration: KNI-TMS provides a database management facility that allows the training managers to capture all required data of the trainees who will be attending the training. TMS then generates the ID and PASSWORD, which is required by the trainees to undergo training.

Training status detail: KNI-TMS provides complete information about the progress of the trainee along with the information about the training hours completed, training start date, completion date, etc.

Certification detail: KNI-TMS provides information about the certification details like training registration date, start date, completion date, and the completion certificate number for downloading the certificate.

Examination detail: KNI-TMS provides access to training managers to organize the examination process for their candidate, and anytime generate a quick report on the examination data.
