Abstract:
7 years after the entry of the private players in the insurance sector & a multitude of products, the emergence of different Distribution Channels in the Indian context has led to interesting developments. Choosing the right distribution channel for reaching their prospective customers at a place and time as per their choice and convenience and at the lowest cost to the companies has been the need of the hour for the life insurance industry. This session examines some of these interesting developments & the role played by the insurers in penetration & the insurance delivery.
